1020: 'Taking the sun' greetings card

During the spring and early summer, our regular walk along the Hog's Back behind the studio is a constantly changing and uplifting experience that we look forward to each day.

The trees are coming into leaf, the meadow flowers are starting to bloom on the downs and the wheat is turning the ploughed fields on the south from brown to green.

As the sun gains in strength, the butterflies become more and more prevalent with multitudes of Cabbage Whites, the occasional Peacock Blue and amongst them was this fabulous Red Admiral, sunning itself on the galvanised metal of one of the stile gates.

The card is printed onto a good quality 350gsm silk finish card, is left blank inside for your message, supplied with a white envelope and arrives flat in board-backed envelope to ensure it is in pristine condition.
