As I take my daily lockdown walks, I often include a circuit around the arboretum in Onslow Village. Not only is this an open space used by many residents every day, it is a journey around the world via all of the different tree species planted along the circular walk.
It has been a pleasure to now see the trees through all the seasons, from dark and bare skeletons in winter, through the bright colours of the blooms in spring to the multitude of shades of green and dappled sunlight in the summer - which inspired this illustration.
The original is in ink and watercolour on Hahnemühle paper.
The print is a high quality giclee print on heavyweight paper reproduced at actual size and arrives flat in board-backed envelope.
